Central Oregon Birth | The Doula Collective Mentorship
The Doula Collective Mentorship
A 6-Month Virtual Mentorship for Doulas Ready to Practice with Confidence
This is not a doula training.
It’s the support most doulas are looking for after certification.
The Doula Collective Mentorship is a six-month, cohort-based program designed to bridge the gap between learning and lived practice—without attending births.
Instead of shadowing a single doula or being expected to “figure it out,” you’ll learn alongside a small group of peers and be mentored by several experienced doulas, each bringing a different lens, skill set, and philosophy to the work.
This is slow, relational learning rooted in real conversations, real clients, and real experience.
What Makes This Mentorship Different
Most programs teach what doulas do.
This mentorship teaches you how doulas think.
You’ll learn how experienced doulas:
Listen deeply and intuitively
Navigate complex client dynamics
Hold boundaries with care
Support clients without overstepping
Build sustainable practices that actually work
There is no single “right way” here.
You’re invited to discover your way.
A Collective of Mentors, Not a Single Authority
You’ll be guided by various, each offering expertise in different areas of practice, including:
Breastfeeding and infant feeding support
Soft, intuitive, and relational listening with clients
Trauma-informed and emotionally attuned care
Networking and building professional relationships
Marketing and visibility without burnout or inauthenticity
Photography and storytelling for doula work
Creating sustainable, values-aligned businesses
This diversity is intentional.
You’ll be exposed to multiple approaches so you can integrate what resonates—and leave what doesn’t.
What’s Included
Weekly Live Mentorship Calls
Weekly 90-minute Zoom calls led by rotating mentors.
Sessions include teaching, storytelling, case discussions, and open Q&A grounded in real doula experiences.
Client Interviews & Case Debriefs
Observe intake interviews, prenatal conversations, and postpartum follow-ups (live, recorded, or role-played with consent). Together, we reflect on what was said, what was held, and what choices were made.
This is where confidence is built.
Monthly 1:1 Advice Sessions
Each month, you’ll meet privately with a mentor of your choice. Bring questions about clients, confidence, boundaries, business, or emotional processing—and receive thoughtful, honest guidance.
Integration Without Overwhelm
Optional recordings, reflection prompts, and community space help you integrate learning without pressure, exams, or performance.
